About the event
90 minutes of uninterrupted self-care. Melt into the pose and dive into the stillness.
Yin is a slow, simple, and quiet practice with opportunity to cultivate awareness and mindfulness with a hint of restorative and meditative quality whilst opening the body.
In today’s special session, we will dive deep in to the 5-element theory.
5 element theory is, together with the Yin-Yang, the fundamental to the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). 5 elements are wood, fire, earth, metal, and earth. These elements describe stages of the transformation from growth cycle from birth to death. Each element is associated with paired organs and is used to diagnose and treat any disharmony amongst the intelligently interconnected and interdependent organ system.
We will explore the poses which will target Liver, Heart, Spleen, Lung and Kidney meridians and the associated organs, the most holistic practice as Yin and TCM concerned.
The body will feel massaged, mind calm, energy rejuvenated and a sense of connectedness during and after the practice.
Use this Sunday afternoon to stretch, open, re-balance your Qi, and immerse yourself into calm stillness.
