About The Event
Yang is a relative term to Yin. More dynamic, active and energizing.
This month, we will focus on the element of Earth. Earth is the late summer and the “transition” period in between each season according to the TCM. The earth energy gives grounding and stability during the changing phase.
In this 2-hour practice, we will explore pranayama and asana to support our earth essence within us.
We aim to bring our Kindness, balanced, creative, and groundedness in harmony with respectful boundaries and focused on the “now” to let go of any worries or over-thinking. We will more balance in to our digestive system with breath and posture.
This class is suitable for almost all levels of students. If you have any medical conditions you are concerned about with the yoga practice, please check with your health professional if this practice is appropriate for you.
Please bring a mat and a cushion to sit on. If you are not sitting on the ground, please sit on a chair.
